Kishtwar, Dec 11: In order to promote peace and communal harmony, Kishtwar police DKR Range Police under Civic Action Program held a Mushaira at NHPC Club Kishtwar in which various Poets from different area of the Range participated.
Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar G N Balwan was chief guest on the occasion. While speaking on the occasion poets and other dignitaries focused on the brotherhood and harmony.
Additional SP Kishtwar Abdul Qayoom while speaking on the occasion thanked the Poets and Guest for spending their valuable time for participating in the program, and also said that Police organized various such Program in order to improve the police public relations and involve the public to ensure that Peace prevails in the society.
Legendary poet Manmohan Gupta , Madan Bhandari, Om ji Gowsami, Gulab Safi, Abdul Salam Zarger, Rehmat Ali, Dr. Tariq Tamkeen, Ramesh Sen, Kewal Krishan, Ajaz Ahmed Zarger, Bansi Lal participated in the occasion.
Among other prominent dignitaries namely ADC Kishori Lal Sharma, Retired ADDC Reyaz Ahmed Zarger, CO 17RR, CO CISF,CO CRPF, Irshad Ahmed- Dy.SP Ops. Kishtwar, Manoj Kumar- Dy.SP DAR Kishtwar and Pardeep Sen- SDPO Atholi, were also present on the occasion.
