Mother-Daughter duo loot man on pretext of marriage | Police defy court directions, help accused | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 11: One Sanjeev Kumar was duped by a mother and daughter duo on pretext of marriage in R.S Pura. As per reports, Sanjeev Kumar son of Sansar Chand, R/O Village Jindher Malu Tehsil RS Pura was duped by the Sunita Kumari and her mohter Channo Devi W/o Lt Dev Raj Basra R/o Village of Chohala Tehsil RS Pura by taking money for marriage. According to victim Sanjeev Kumar, he gave over Rs. 5 Lakh to mother of girl Channo Devi, which included money for Jewellery, clothes and other things. The wedding cards were also printed by the mother for the wedding which was to take place on December 2, 2015, but due to reasons, best known to her mother, she postponed the wedding of her daughter , but Sanjeev Kumar and the girl got married in a temple. After one year, Sanjeev Kumar got to know that girl's mother got her daughter married with another boy. Sanjeev approached the court from where he got the stay order over the marriage. The stay order was issued by the court on dated 28-11-2016 and the copy of that was send to the SHO RS Pura Bhushan Manhas on 02-12-2016, but SHO allegedly did nothing. Sanjeev Kumar again approached the court which then directed to SSP Jammu to ensure compliance of the order. Despite order from court and direction from SSP Jammu afore said SHO allegedly provided police protection for the said marriage which was stayed by the court. |
