Strong resentment against unreasonable price hike

Vijaypur, Dec 11: Today a huge protest rally was organized by the Congress workers, delegates of Vijaypur constituency under the leadership of Arun Sharma. The protesters were raising slogans against the coalition government of Jammu and Kashmir regarding the unreasonable price hike of ration as well as other food stuffs.
The protesters were also accusing the Central Government lead under Prime Minister Narendra Modi which remain failed to control the price hike. The rally started from Gurha Morh Vijaypur and burnt the effigies of Govt. of J&K State at National Highway Vijaypur.
During the regime of congress government the price of the food stuffs and ration was about 1/3 percent less as compared to the present prices of good, protesters said. While addressing the public, workers and delegates that the rate of levy sugar hiked from Rs. 13.50 to Rs. 25.00 and the rate of levy atta hiked from Rs. 8:00 to Rs. 15.00. Similarly the rates of every goods have been hiked proportionally thrice.
Sharma told that the Modi Government has scrapped the old currency of Rs. 500 and 1000 and started the new denomination of Rs. 2000 which create the problems for the poor population of India. It is learnt that about 70% public is living rural area and most of the people have not open bank accounts and due to this very facts the people are suffering a lot. The coalition government fails to deals with problems of common mass and always remained suspended maximum period of their regime. He said that the Govt. remain fail to control over corruption. He said that in District Samba particular in Revenue Department corruption is at peak.
He said that Civil Secretariat remain defunct due to the unreasonable unrest in the Kashmir Division which cause huge loss to the state exchequer. He urged the Government to control over the prices of ration otherwise the people shall in large and the government shall be responsible for the same.
Chhajju Ram, Ghambir Singh, Sandeep Sharma, Capt. Baldev Raj, Dev Raj, Bishember Singh, Ram Murti, Gulshan Lal, Rajesh Kumar, Rehmat Ali, Onkar, Singh, Shamsher Singh, Jagtar Singh, Satain Singh etc. were also witnessed in the rally.
