| JAMMU, Dec 11: Shri Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan Trust has appealed to Governor Narinder Nath Vohra to declare holiday on Basant Panchmi. According to press release, president of Trust appealed governor that on Basant Panchmi thousands of people mark their presence at the Asthan the birth Place of Bawa Ballo who sacrificed life for truth and Social equality. Shastri said that a number of representations have been put forward before state govt by different religious group and scholars to declare basant panchmi as a state holiday in oder to respect the faith of the people. |
