JKCUL holds meet, demands high power committee | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 21: Jammu and Kashmir Cooperative Union Limited (JKCUL) held a meeting to review the various challenges to strengthen cooperative movement in Jammu and Kashmir State. The meeting was chaired by its Chairman Rajesh Sharma at Tourist Reception Center conference hall Jammu in which leading cooperators from all the districts of the state participated including the Board of Directors (BoDs) of the J&K Coop union limited. Sharma in his welcome address highlighted burning issues before all the cooperative institutions and assured all the participants that unanimous efforts shall be made to resolve these issues which are hurdle in the way of development of this sector. Ali Mohammad Ganaie from Kashmir also presented his views about marketing in the cooperative sector which needs to be addressed as early as possible. Mohinder Singh, G.S Jamwal and other speakers also highlighted the issue of collective efforts to revive the cooperative in Jammu & Kashmir and to strengthen the democratic institution so that a positive message goes in whole country. The suggestion came from all the speakers to constitute a high power committee which may look into the affairs and submit the same proposal to government for further action. |
