| Fearing embarrassment in assembly session BJP ministers luring party legislators | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 21: As the countdown for the assembly session has started, BJP ministers in the coalition government have started the process to pacify own annoyed legislators to avoid embarrassment.
The arrogant BJP ministers are forced to take party legislators in good humour because majority of them (legislators) are enraged over style of the function of own their ministers and they have repeatedly brought this matter to the notice of the state leadership. There is fear among BJP ministers that party legislators would take up issues which are directly concerned to their respective departments to corner them in the Assembly as well as in the Legislative Council so they have started luring these annoyed legislators.
Credible sources during a meeting, which was especially convened by the state leadership on Monday evening to look into grievances of the legislators, BJP ministers tried their best to keep party MLAs and MLCs into confidence. "Some legislators of the party have already launched campaign against their own ministers and they have dropped hints that they would expose their misdeeds on the floor of the Assembly", sources said and added that fearing that party legislators would not spare them in the coming budget session of the assembly.
Just a couple of days back, a senior BJP minister, who is facing allegation of corruption, has called some MLAs at his residence for dinner. Aim of this dinner meeting was to convince them not to take any issue related to his departments. This minister is not only facing corruption but he is also proved total failure in his departments. |
