Ten months on, handicapped pensioners are without pension 12/21/2016 9:43:27 PM Rajesh Tandon Early Time Report Poonch Dec 21: The old aged, physically challenged and all other pensioners today showed their resentment over the negligence of the central and state government towards the ignorance of the segment. According to sources Handicapped Association Poonch (HAP) today expressed their surprise over the ignorance and said the pensioners of the segment are without pension since last ten months. Abdul Rashid Shahpuri, the district president of OBC Poonch and district president of physically challenged persons in this regard informed early times that the physically challenged and old aged, who are depending only on the monthly pension are suffering badly without pension by the central and state government since long. He said that pensioners are totally ignored by the governments which is condemnable." Social Welfare Department is demanding Adhar card for the continue of pension" which may not be easy for the common and rural areas' pensioners especially physically challenged persons,he said and urged the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to personally intervene in the matter and direct SWD authorities to provide monthly pension to them as early as possible and also give Adhar concession to them.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
