Unscheduled power cuts irks Mendhar residents 12/21/2016 9:44:36 PM M S NAZKI Early Times Report Poonch, Dec 21: The residents of mendhar area in Poonch districts have complained that Power Development Department (PDD) has been resorting to unscheduled power cuts in the Mendhar Tehsil of Poonch district for the last few days causing immense hardships to the people.The residents of Gohlad Dharana Bhera and other areas lamented that the erratic power supply not only multiplies the problems of people, but also causes hardships to students preparing for various examinations. "We even face erratic power cut-offs during the period when we should receive electricity according to PDD schedule. It is better for the authorities to keep electricity off for this area", said some students, adding further that PDD has failed to provide the electricity as per the announced schedule.
