Jammu, Dec 21: Desperate to earn easy money, people associated with underworld have now started patronising notorious criminals and sleeper cells to sell drugs, especially Heroin among youth.
According to sources, to mint easy money, persons associated with underworld now these days are patronising criminals for pumping Heroin into Jammu region to make fast bucks.
Sources said, a notorious criminal with the patronage of underworld these days is selling Heroin to local youth in Jammu outskirts and making huge profits.
"A SHO is also supporting the notorious criminal for illegal actives and is also getting some amount from the profit", said a source adding that both SHO and notorious criminal spend some time in the police station during late hours.
Sources claimed that to mint easy money the underworld is using some notorious criminals for selling Heroin in new markets under the very nose of Police.
Sources asserted that this police-criminals nexus is proving to be a big money spinner for the criminals associated with underworld as these criminals take a huge share out of these transactions while the police and sleeper cells are also getting their due commission.
"The sleeper cells without any fear of being caught by the police are penetrating deep into schools and colleges and students are their main targets," said sources. |
