| Lions Club organizes medical camp | | | Early Times Report
Samba, Dec 24: Lions Club Samba organized free Eye Check up Camp at Govt. Middle School Arazi Samba. 115 students were checked up by the Eye Specialist Dr. Suruchi of District Hospital Samba and 22 Students were selected for detailed check up. All The children of the school were given Stationery Items, warm clothes and refreshment by the Lions Club Samba.
The whole staff of the school and prominent persons Chief Education Officer, Samba, ZEO Samba the members of District Unit Lions Club Samba were present on the occasion. While addressing the gathering the president of Lions Club Samba Amardeep Singh appreciated the presence of guests and the Doctor who took out some time out of their busy schedule for this genuine purpose and advised the students to take proper care of their eyes and follow the treatment advised by the doctor to the 22 students. He also appealed the CEO Samba to cover the drain passing through the school on which the CEO assured to cover the said drain. The Secretary of the Lions Club Samba Surinder Mishra while highlighting the working of Lions club Samba also highlighted the importance of eyes in making good future of the students.
The Ceremony was graced by the Lions of the Club included Capt. Inder Singh, Sita Ram Sapolia, Jagdish Raj Thappa, Rajnish Pargal, Pawan Kumar, Rakesh Singh, Ashok Raizada, Vikas Gupta, Naresh Chandel and others graced the occasion. President Lion Amardeep Sngh and his team thanks to the Prinicpal and Staff members, students to make the program a great success. |
