Refugees protest against separatist leaders condemning govt action of Domicile certificate | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 24 West Pakistani Hindu Refugee Front, J&K today held a protest at Sidco Chowk, Bari Brahmana, Samba to condemn the statement of Hurriyat leaders, Yassin Mailk and Syed Ali Shah Gilani regarding denying domicile certificate to the West Pakistani Hindu refugees as proposed by the J&K Govt and also state that these refugees should be sent back to Pakistan, which is act of inhuman and controversial stand against the Hindus residing in Jammu. The J&K PDP-BJP Govt. first time in the history has decided to provide Identity Cards identical to the Domicile certificate to the West Pakistani Refugees, which will facilitate them to get enrolment in the Central Forces as well as in other Jobs in the Central Govt Deptt and also get benefit of PM Special Scholarship Scheme. These Hindu refugees so far do not have any Identity Certificate issued by the State Govt. These refugees are entitled to vote for Parliamentary Election in J&K and having valid Ration cards. T7hese refugees are also paying proper house Tax for the house where living and also for the land under their custody duly allotted by the J&K Govt., as such are resident of J&K, and very much entitled to Domicile Certificate. The protest was organised under the chairmanship of Sub Maj Madan lal Dubgotra, President and Sanjeev Adgotra, Vice President, Mool Raj Gupta, Pankaj Slathia and other West Pakistani Hindu Refugees. On this occasion effigies of Hurriyat leaders Yashin Mali and Syed Ali Shah Gilani were burnt and slogans of Hai Hai and Murdabad were raised against these Hurriyat leaders. |
