KISHTWAR, Dec 24: Congress Leader Kishtwar Shamsher Singh Bhandari in a press note said that Saffron of Kishtwar is losing its charm and growing quantity due to lack of support from state government and Safron Development Officer Kishtwar.
Bhandari claims that kishtwar Saffron growers grow the best saffron but its amazed that the all attention go to Kashmir only.
This year the quantity of Saffron goes down due to no rainfall and also due to lack of assistance by the agriculture department of Kishtwar and well as Saffron Developmemt Office of Kishtwar.
Bhandari further said that this year the productity of Safffon goes down to 80% and all saffron cutivated peoples get huge loses and requested to provide immediate compensation,so that saffron growers can return there KCC Loans. |
