Jammu, Dec 24 : Tightening its noose around toll tax evaders, the excise department, Jammu, has realised a fine of Rs 6,480 from them. The fine was realised during checking of vehicles at an excise naka on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway at Thanda Paddar, according to official sources. The naka was laid under the supervision of senior officers of excise department, sources said and added that almost 100 vehicles were put to checking. |
