Jammu, Dec 24: A soldier today slipped to death in the mountainous Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.
A jawan identified as Sepoy Prakash Chand Thakur hailing from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, this morning was patrolling with his colleagues, when a shooting stone hit him. He slipped and fell into a gorge near Kannibatti in Rajgarh Tehsil of Ramban, police sources here said.
Prakash was rushed to the Field Hospital, Batote, but succumbed to his injuries on the way.A case has been registered and investigation started, police added.
