Srinagar, Oct 20: The disturbing figures about rising crime rate in J&K is coming to fore with the state leading ahead of Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh in crimes related to abduction and kidnapping of people including children.
The figures issued by the Home Affairs department reveal that there are as many as 477 cases of abduction reported every year from J&K. The rate of abduction in the state has gone up with records revealing that at present it is no less than 3.9 percent when compared with the rest of India.
On the contrary, Gujarat had 234 cases of abduction reported which is even not half of what is being witnessed in J&K. Similarly, Himachal Pradesh recorded 56 cases of abduction while as Arunachal Pradesh has just 53 cases. There are other states in India as well that haven't seen the rate of kidnapping as much as has been recorded in J&K. They include Kerala, Karnataka, Goa and several others.

Jammu, Oct 20: The government sacking thirteen employees has sent a tough message that there would be no compromise with the people who support separatists and terrorists in Kashmir.
"It's not for the first time that government officials were involved in the anti-India activities. There are many top officials, who too are on the radar. But, earlier no one touched them.
