Cong-Sapolia devising joint strategy to defeat Lal Singh BJP is also not providing desired support to ex-MP 11/7/2014 12:31:54 AM Sanjay Pathak Early Times Report KATHUA, Nov 6: Dropped BJP MLA from Basohli, Jagdish Raj Sapolia is exploring different possibilities before taking any decision. Atlhough Congress leadership has established contact with Jagdish Sopolia, the dropped MLA has not made up his mind to join the party. Sources close to Sapolia disclosed that the sitting MLA is not in a hurry to take any hasty decision. Instead of joining Congress party at this juncture, Sapolia has started mass contact programme to take feedback from grass-root level to take final decision. Sources said that Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad is also very particular to ensure defeat his arch rival Choudhary Lal Singh from Basohli assembly seat. Ghulam Nabi Azad has also established contact with Sapolia and assured him every possible help. BJP has given mandate to two-time Congress MLA Choudhary Lal Singh from Basohli assembly segment where Sapolia is sitting MLA Sapolia and Choudhary Lal Singh are arch rivals in Basohli. Now Ghulam Nabi Azad has also joined the fight to settle score with Choudhary Lal Singh who had openly opposed Azad during the Lok Sabha elections. The way Congress and Sapolia have been jointly devising strategy to defeat Choudhary Lal Singh one thing has become clear that election at Basholi would be interesting.
