Jammu, Mar 7: National Panthers Student Union NPSU today held a strong protest demonstration against the proposed move of the state government to rehabilitate the surrendered militants and unconditional release of prisoners lodged in various jails of Kashmir on various charges. According to press release, led by NPSU President Thakur Virender Singh the students raised slogans against BJP-PDP alliance for promoting the separatist agenda and its total disregard for the issues and concerns of Jammu region. The students raised the slogans of 'BJP-PDP' hai hai coalition government murdabad. Speaking on the occasion Thakur Virender Singh said that the whole BJP-PDP alliance had initiated the process of rehabilitation of surrendered militants, the west Pakistan refugees issue was totally neglected. Thakur Virender Singh further called upon the government to declare the teachers selection lists for various Districts of Jammu region. He said that whereas the services selection board had released the selection lists of teachers of all Districts in Kashmir region, the selection lists of teachers for Jammu region had been wrongfully withheld which was highly discriminatory. Others who spoke on the occasion included lovely Singh, Shubam Jasrotia, Bhupinder Singh, Sumit Singh, Shubam Singh, Sourav and Kanu Sharma. |
