Tehsil Chassana residents submit memorandum of demands | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 7: Residents of Tehsil Chassana, led by Pardeep Singh a leader of Bhartiya Jantya Party (BJP) today submitted memorandum of demands to the Commissioner Secretary, R&B Works Department, Jammu and Kashmir government. Inhabitants of Tehsil Chassana & Naibat-Tuli Banna, Naibat- Shergari submitted in the memorandum that construction of raod under PMGSY had been started during 2005-06 from Chassaana to Tuli Kalaban length about 12 kms and Chassana to Sarsote length about 15 kms. "After lapse of eight to nine years even 4 Kms stretch of the road is not completed. There is no provision of drainage system due to which land of farmers usually gets damaged whenever it rains. Two bridges were also proposed over river Annas for Chassana to Tuli Kalaban Road and Chassana to Sarsote Road but Nothing has been don till date", the memorandum reads. The memorandum submitted to the Commissioner Secretary further reads that the construction work for the Public health centre (PHCs) building at Gota was started during 2010-11 by R&B department but till date only window level work has been executed thereafter with this, residents of Tehsil Chessana also submitted other demands to the Commissioner Secretary for timely redressal of their demands. |
