GDC Rajouri organizes Symposium 3/8/2015 1:04:49 AM Early Times Report Rajouri, Mar 7 : GDC Rajouri organized a symposium on the caption 'The Philosophy of Truth and Non-violence' advocated by Mahatama Gandhi by the College Literary Committee under the convener-ship of Prof. Haqeeqat Singh Ishar and the patronage of Dr. J. A. Qazi Principal of the College. According to press release, all the Staff and Students of the College were present on the occasion. As many as ten students, selected after a detailed scrutiny by the committee, participated in the event. Prof. Haqeeqat Singh Ishar, convener of College cultural and literary committee, Prof. Mohd Farooq Mirza HOD Education and Prof. Javed Mughal HOD English were on the panel of the judges. The first prize was bagged by Ehlam Mir, whereas 2nd and 3rd ranks went to Sushant Sharma and Iflak Ahmed. The principal concluding the programme exalted the efforts of the College cultural committee for conducting such formative programmes and appreciated the initiative of the students to show their presence of the said occasion.
