Kalakote, Mar 7 : Jammu and Kashmir Academy of art, culture and languages organised a multilingual Mushaira at Government Girls High School (GGHS) Kalakote. According to press release, the Mushaira was presided over by a prominent poet Qasim Rahi whereas Tilak Raj Head Master of the school was chief guest on the occasion.
Dr Alamdar Adam cultural officer Rajouri Poonch welcome the audience, poets, and locals of the area, chief gust and other poets appreciated the steps of cultural officer promoting local languages along with state official language Urdu. The poets includes Mohd Qudoos, Shabir Hussain Shakir, Ab. Ghani, Yaseen Naz, Sarwar Khayali, Sadakat Ali, Tariq Faheem, Shahbaz Waseem, Rafi Shabnum, Nazir Hussain, Raiz Ahmed, Ishaq Bajran, Raj Kumar Sharma, Lucky Sharma, and others present their latest and unpublished poetry mesmerized the students, locals and senior citizens as well.
The proceeding was conducted by Master Yaseen Naz, in the end cultural officer Dr. Alamdar Adam made the vote of thanks to participants, locals, teachers, school headmaster, and students of the institution. |
