POONCH, May 11: Annual inter-school competitions of Pooch zone in the disciplines of kho-kho, volleyball, kabaddi and speedball got underway here today under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS).
The competition was declared open by Principal of Government Higher Secondary School (boys), Kiran Singh, who was chief guest. The event is being held under the supervision of District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Mohd Ayaz Khan and ZPEO Poonch, Tej Kour at Sports Stadium, here.
The preliminary rounds of different events were officiated by the technical penal comprising Narinder Singh, Rajinder Singh, Jasmeet Kour, Gurvinder Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Nirmal Kour, Aurangjeb, Sourav Sharma, Neeraj Sharma and Damanpreet Singh. |
