Jammu, May 11: The work in the State High Court Jammu Wing as well as Subordinate Court Jammu District remain affected as Advocates suspended the work on the untimely demise of Altaf Ahmed Senior Advocate Supreme Court of India, former Advocate General of Jammu & Kashmir.
The J&K High Court Bar Association (JKHCBA) today conveyed its condolences on the unfortunate and untimely demise of Altaf Ahmed Senior Advocate Supreme Court of India, former Advocate General of Jammu & Kashmir State (1986 to 1990) who also worked as Additional Solicitor General of India. Pertinently departed soul Altaf Ahmed had the distinction of being designated as youngest Senior Advocate by the Supreme Court of India on 27/10/1986.
Senior Advocates of the Bar expressed their heartfelt condolences on the demise of Mr Ahmed and in this regard, the work remained suspended in the High Court (Jammu wing) and the District Courts at Jammu. |
