AKMRH hold meet | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 11: All Kashmiri Migrant Relief holders held a meeting under the presidentship of its president Ajay Bhat here today in which floral tributes were paid to Rakesh Raina who lost his life during the hunger strike of the organization in the year 2012. The meeting was presided over by Sunil Pandita, organizer of the organization. While addressing the members president Ajay Bhat threw light on various issues which community members were facing at present here at Jagti. He said that the family of Rakesh Raina has been neglected who participated in the hunger strike of Kashmiri Relief Holders for enhancing the relief of KPs in the year 2012. He said during the strike Rakesh suffered massive kidney failure and passed away in his prime youth. He was the lone bread earner to his family. Pertinently late Rakesh, who participated in 2012 hunger strike of KPs at Jagti camp for months together had suffered chronic renal failure during the strike, while leaving behind his insane wife and two little children. Community members in an appeal urged authorities to lend financially a helping hand to his family. |
