Jammu, May 11: Sant Mela Singh College of Education (SMSCE), Digiana Jammu organized an Exhibition cum Workshop on Teaching Aids in the College premises, here today.
On the occasion, chairman of the College, Prof. Anmol Singh was the chief guest on the occasion. He inaugurated the workshop & interacted with the students. Teaching Aids related to different teaching subjects were displayed in the exhibition. Students of various practising groups gave demonstration and explanation regarding their respective models of various subjects. Principal of the College, Dr. Kiran Luthra welcomed the chief guest and emphasized upon the significance of teaching aid in providing a multisensory experience to the learners & facilitating teaching learning process. The purpose of holding this type of programme was to develop creativity among pupil teachers and to develop knowledge of procedure of designing the teaching aids & the material to be used in the class so that the teaching aids become relevant to the subject to be taught & to make the lessons comprehensive and meaningful. |
