Court denies bail in 'minor rape' case | | | Early Times Report Budgam, June 23: Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Budgam Kamlesh Pandita today rejected the bail application of one Imtiyaz Ahmad Shah who was arrested by the Khansahib Police station for allegedly committing a rape upon a minor girl. After hearing both the sides Chief Judicial Magistrate Budgam Kamlesh Pandita observed that the offence alleged to have been committed by the accused person are heinous and are considered against the society at large. Court further observed that rape leaves a permanent scar on the life of the victim and makes horrendous for the victim to lead a dignified and well respectable life in the society. With these observations Court dismissed the bail application. According to the police case that a FIR No 40/2015 for the commission of offence u/s 366/376/506 RPC was registered on a written complaint lodged by the father of the prosecutrix on this June 12alleging therein that daughter (15) has been abducted by the accused person. During the course of investigation police recovered girl and recorded her statement u/s 164-A CrPC and arrested the accused. (JNF) |
