Claims Farooq Abdullah pays tributes to Dr Mokherjee BJP media cell creates flutter 6/24/2015 1:06:04 AM Early Times Report Jammu, June 23: The media cell of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday created a flutter after it issued a press note claiming that BJP National Secretary Farooq Abdullah also paid tributes to Dr Shyama Prasad Mookherjee. The press note while giving details of the ceremony held to pay tributes also mentioned name of Farooq Abdullah, National Secretary who attended the ceremony and paid homage to the party stalwart. According to party leaders though it was a routine event of paying tributes to Dr Shyama Prasad Mookherjee but due to faux pass it turned out to be the most happening political event of the day. The clipping of the press note went viral on the social networking sites and large number of netizens commented. Ironically, those responsible for handling BJP media war room had failed to issue a corrigendum till late in the evening. The press note said: "On the occasion senior party leaders including state BJP Chief and party MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, Shamsher Singh Manhas, Prof Chaman Lal Gupta, MLC Ashok Khajuria, Farooq Khan paid tributes and remembered the supreme sacrifice made by Dr Mookherjee."   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
