NPSU opposes new marks criteria in Naib-Tehsildar exams | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 11: Lambasting the JKSSRB for drafting the new marks criteria for Naib-Tehsildar exams, NPSU rebuked the pattern as biased and irrational in a press conference held at Party headquarters here today. Virender Singh President NPSU revealed to the media that earlier the examination was conducted for 150 marks in English but now the JKSSRB has formulated the new criteria whereby out of 150 marks Urdu language shall be given the weight age of 30 marks. He said that this would directly benefit the aspirants of Kashmir valley since they are proficient in Urdu language and on the other hand the aspirants of Jammu would be divested of an equal opportunity as they are not well versed with the aforesaid language. Virender said that this criteria is irrational, unethical and biased nature and need to be change without delay. Moreover it also questions the credibility and integrity of JKSSRB as the new criteria is totally anti-Jammu youth. He also disclosed to the media that a representation has already been submitted to the Chairman JKSSRB in this regard. He said that if no action is taken by the JKSSRB authorities then NPSU will resort to massive agitation. |
