Protests over `Disappearance' of Kishtwar student continue He drowned in Chenab: Police 8/11/2015 11:22:02 PM Asif Iqbal Naik Early Times Report Kishtwar Aug 11: Protests over disappearance of a 9th standard student continued for the second consecutive day today with the aggrieved demanding arrest of their son's friends and their family members. . The disappeared youth has been identified as Aqib Hussain son of Ghulam Hussain resident of Mughal Maidan at Present Wasserkund Kishtwar. He disappeared from his home three days ago. The aggrieved registeoutside the police station and Deputy Commissioner's office alleging that the friends of the disappeared youth kidnapped him and later murdered him. The police said that investigation revealed that it was an incident and the boy died due to drowning, adding that the search for the body continues. The police said that cell phone details of all the persons allegedly involved in the crime were scrutinized, but nothing was found. It is pertinent to mention that the friends of the missing youths, including 5th standard student informed the police that they along with Aqib went for a picnic on the bank of river Chenab, adding Aqib went for swimming but was drowned.
