Mother of two jumps into river Chenab 8/11/2015 11:15:49 PM Early Times Report Kishtwar, Aug 11: Mother of two children a young housewife jumped into river Chenab at Bhanderkot -Kishtwar during wee hours ofTuesday at 8.30 AM. Police have registered a case in this regard and search operations to trace her were on till late evening. As per the details available with "Early Times", one Randeep Kumar son Dani Ram resident of Tagood Kishtwar lured the lady to marry her and eloped with her forcing her to leave her home and came to Jammu. After spending some days together, the lady returned back to home after the army personal refused to marry her, the lady according to the sources even has lodged a written complaint with Kishtwar police alleging that Randeep Kumar betrayed her and demanded action against him. As per the eyewitnesses, Geeta Devi arrived at Bhanderkoot this morning and offered her obeisance at Bhanderkoot temple before she jumped into river Chenab from the bridge in this area. Soon after receiving information, police team rushed to the spot and started search operation with the help of army and locals, but the strong water currents swept the body of the woman. When contacted senior police official of Kishtwar police said that the search operation has been launched to trace body of the woman.
