'Abduction by militants' rurmours continues to be in air, security forces on heels

Rajouri, Aug 11: After an information of alleged kidnapping of a man by militants under Dahramshal Police Station in Rajouri district in the morning today, Rajouri police in collaboration with army have launched a massive search operation in the adjoining forests but without any result till the filing of this report. However police termed the 'in3formation' to be hoax and creation of 'social media' only. Police sources said that family members of one Sanjay Kumar s/o Hukum Chand resident of Saroh hamlet under Triyath Police Post informed the police that he went missing from a forest while on way to coal mines at Moghla at about 7.30 am.
They added that Sanjay himself informed them on phone about his kidnapping by a group of three militants from a Baloria forest about three kilometers from his home.
Recalling that they talked thrice before his phone was switched off, Yaswant Singh, neighborer of Sanjay Kumar informed The Early Times that last time he talked while passing through Bhanakri forest along with his kidnappers and after that he could not be contacted.
"As the family members don't coming out with clear statement/in writing about Sanjay's abduction by the militants, the police lodged a missing report and immediately and acting swiftly have launched a joint search operation with army in all the forests in that area" said Dr Haseeb Mughal SSP Rajouri.
SSP Rajouri said, "Sanjay has been recovered from bushes from a forest near his village at about 6.45pm.
He added Sanjay was brought to Dharamshal Police Station for further questioning. He however didn't ruled out concocted story by Sanjay and said his questioning will authenticate if he really was kidnapped by militants and if yes how he managed or got released by them.
"If he was found involved misleading the police/security forces and creating tension in the area over some domestic dispute, he will be booked under relevant sections under law" said SSP.
