JAMMU, Aug 11: G.D. Goenka Public School, Jammu governed by Om Prakash Bansal Charitable Trust celebrated Independence Day with patriotic fervour and zeal.
A cultural programme on the eve was organised by the students of class I and II. Students sang patriotic songs followed by a skit. Students dressed up as freedom fighters like Subash Chander Bose, Mahatma Gandhi, Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru and many more. Kyna Kesar enacted as Rani Lakshmi Bai recited the famous poem " Khub Ladi Mardani ……" . Students further came up with slogans, poems, speech and dance.
The Principal of the school, Dr. R. P. Singh appreciated the Co-ordinators Shipra Bali and Nishita Sharma along with the team of their teachers and students for their over thrilling performance. |
