BJP misleading people of Jammu region: AIIMS CC

Jammu, Aug 11: Instead of bringing an appropriate order for establishing AIIMS in Jammu, Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) was misleading people of Jammu region.
According to press release, AIIMS Coordination Committee (ACC) chairman and JKHCBA, Jammu, president, Jammu, Abhinav Sharma today said that BJP misleading the struggling people of Jammu region through its misinformation campaign and big hoardings that the Narendra Modi led government at Center has also sanctioned an AIIMS for Jammu.
He was addressing a large gathering of people at the Dharna Sthal on the High Court Road. There is nothing for the dishonest and rabble-rousing BJP to congratulate the Prime Minister. There is only one letter that talks about identification of alternate pieces of land at both in Jammu and Srinagar. It nowhere says that an AIIMS will be established in Jammu. It only says that the Government of India will establish All-India Institute of Medical Sciences in Jammu and Kashmir, Abhinav Sharma said, and added that the people of Jammu region could not be misled.
The people of Jammu region are only waiting for an appropriate opportunity to strike, and their struggle is far from over. Sharma asked the ungrateful BJP to remove its misleading hoardings, saying the content they carry is highly humiliating. He accused the BJP of reducing the people of Jammu region to the category of also.
Senior Advocates and former Bar Association presidents Ved Raj Wazir, BS Slathia and Ashok Vijay Gupta also addressed the gathering and expressed thanks to the Bar Association members for their unanimous decision regarding extension of the strike period till August 15 to start with. Former District and Sessions Judge Pavitar Singh also spoke on the occasion.
Those sat on chain hunger strike included for former JKHCBA, Jammu, presidents, Ved Raj Wazir, A V Gupta, sr advocate P N Goja, Raghuvir Singh, Rupak Ratta, Ravinder Kumar, Umesh Sharma, Pradeep Majhotra, Bindusar Abrol, N P Kotwal, Sunil Sharma and Arvind Bandral.
Among others who addressed the gathering included Advocate prominent literary, S S Lehar, Advocate Rajesh Thapa, working president JPPF, M S Katoch, Anan Sharma, SoS chairman Rajiv Chuni, Sardar Rajinder Singh, Madan Rangeela, Dheeraj Pargal, Rajkumar, Inderj.
