SIE Jmu organizes Divisional Level Painting Contest

Jammu, Aug 20: Education Technology Wing of State Institute of Education Jammu organized a Divisional Level Painting Competition today at SIE Jammu under the overall guidance of H R Pakhroo, Joint Director (trgs)/Principal SIE Jammu in which large number of participants participated.
According to spokesperson the contest was held on the themes viz. Make in India, Save Water & Save Life and e-Waste Hazards & Management
According to spokesperson main objective of conducting this Painting Competition was to inculcate aesthetic and latent talents among young students.
In his inaugural address H R Pakhroo, Joint Director (trgs)/Principal SIE Jammu exhorted the participants to take opportunity of participating in such activities which are necessary for the overall development of personality of the child. The co-curricular activities, games, yoga, dance and paintings etc all helps to teach values for life and affects the character & conduct of child.
Earlier welcome address was presented by Hamida Khatoon Research Officer SIE Jammu.
A panel of judges comprising Veero Devi, +2 Principal, SIE Jammu ; Akram Khan, Master DIET Reasi and Rohit Verma from Academy of Fine & Arts adjudged the works of participants .
Kajal Devi (9th Class) from HS (Jathi) Doda bagged the first prize, while Jatlin Sadotra (9th Class) from HS Kambal Danga Reasi bagged the second and the third prize went to Afsha Mir (10th Class) from HSS Batote Ramban. The panel also awarded consolation prizes to Mueezza Tabssum (GHSS Kishtwar), Nisha Devi ( GHS Keharal Reasi); Rozy Radha (GHSS Canal Road) & Moin Ahmad Matto (GHS Drabshalla Kishtwar ) to encourage them.
Syed Imran Bukhari, Research Officer / In-Charge ET Cell, SIE Jammu in association with Kailash Kumari, Veena Gupta, Anjana Chandan Master SIE Jammu and Akash Khajuria, SIE Teacher coordinated the programme.
