Cong, NC stage protest, demand new transformer for Ward No 10 8/20/2015 11:33:56 PM Early Times Report KATHUA, Aug 20:A large number of people led by senior Congress leader and Member, Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) along with Block President National Conference Shakeel Ahmad today staged a protest demonstration in Ward No 10 to press for the demand of installing new transformer for the locality. While addressing the media, Naresh Sharma said electric transformer of Ward No 9 and 10 got out of order for the last few days but PDD has failed to replace the same and public have been suffering due to this. He said PDD must have stand-by transformer to replace immediately. He alleged on officers to ignore the suffering of general public and run behind blue eyed to impress them. Shakeel Ahmad said people live in 21st century not in 16th wherein they could live without electricity. He said people have to live without electricity for a week in 21st century which is intolerable and shame on the state government.
