KC Gurukul Public School holds science exhibition | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 20: KC Gurukul Public School provided an opportunity to the students of classes 5th to 10th to display their scientific skills during one day school level science exhibition, which was organized in the school premises. The children easily implemented the things that they have learnt at the school. Children found the platform of science exhibition a great way to showcase what and all, they have tried. Children applied their ideas and presented projects differently in their own unique way. Young children also learnt the importance of selecting topics and fine tuning of their presentations in such a way that made them to impress the eminent judges. In this best learning experience the students can further undertake and are confident for state and national level exposure. Academic Director of the school Vijay Puri congratulated for preparing a science exhibition an excellent example of active learning of successful science teaching and also stressed that its absence in the class room is one of the key factors behind kids losing their interest and potential in science subject. Around 40 models were displayed including Disaster management, Traffic Control, Renewable source of energy, Pollution control, Global warming. Water conservation model was the main attraction of the exhibition. Chairman Arvind Mahajan appreciated the efforts of the students and their teachers. |
