Jammu, Sept 12: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sanasthan (BLSKS) staged 67th Musical Play " Doli " in collaboration with Unison Cultural Troupe , Sangam Tru Art Production & ESRM as parts of its regular feature at 197-Durga Bhawan Janipur Jammu.
The programe was inaugurated by the Chief Guest V.K.Magotra, Former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity ,Government of India , Dr.Anju Dogra, Health Department, J&K Government , Vinod Dogra, Chief Service Engineer Excide & Romesh Chander ,Event Director were the Guest of Honor. Speaking on the occasion , Chief guest Lauding the role of Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan-(NGO) and underlined the importance of staging such plays in all parts of the state to generate awareness among the masses about various social evils through theatre/drama which are still very powerful medium of communication. "Doli " musical play written, produced and directed by ML Dogra (Chairman BLSKS) reflects the agony of two conservative families who are bent upon getting their daughter and son married at tender age, ignoring the advise of intellectuals of the society. |
