Headmaster found absent from duty, CEO seeks explanation Absenteeism culture in edu deptt 9/12/2015 11:48:45 PM Early Times Report Kishtwar, Sept 12: Taking strong note of unauthorized absence of Headmaster High School Shanna in Thakrie area of Kishtwar District, Chief Education Officer Kishtwar Abdul Hamid Fani today sought explanation from the absentee Headmaster and ordered for immediate withholding of his salary till pending inquiry and referred the case to Director School Education Jammu for further necessary action under rule. As per order issued by Chief Education Officer Kishtwar vide order No CEO/K/2015/13486-90 dated 12-09-2015, the copy of which is available with "Early Times", Headmaster High School Shanna Kuldeep Kumar was found unauthorizedly absent from his duty w.e.f 27-08-2015 to 10-09-2015. The CEO Kishtwar action against the absentee Headmaster comes after the matter was brought into his notice that Headmaster Kuldeep Kumar was absent from his duty and accordingly the next incharge of the school was summoned by the CEO Kishtwar along with arrival and all the record pertaining to school leaving, after verification of the same it comes to the fore that Headmaster High School Shanna marked his five days duty w.e.f 27-08-2015 to 31-08-2015 on account of treasury duty while the register was found blank w.e.f 01-09-2015 till date. "You have neither got any leave sanctioned by the Undersigned (CEO Kishtwar) and not get the station leave permission before leaving the station. You are therefore asked to explain your position as to why you were unauthorizedly absent from your duty, before any action is warranted under rule is taken against you" read CEO Kishtwar order, added that "The prima-facie reveals that you are unauthorizedly absent from duty".
