Jammu, Sept 12: In the alleged misappropriation of SDRF funds which were to be disbursed among drought victims of 2009 in Rajouri, high court judge Tashi Rabstan has directed SVO director to file the status of petitioner's complaint.
The petition, filed by Istkhar Ali Khan, seeks constitution a SIT in the complaint filed by him with the SVO against deputy commissioner, Rajouri, and other officials who were responsible in alleged misappropriation of Rs 1,64,84,000 sanctioned under SDRF for disbursement among the drought hit farmers of 2009 and direction to SVO director to file an affidavit as to disclose the fact why FIR was not registered on receipt of the petitioner's complaint.
Justice Rabstan, after hearing the petitioner's counsel, issued notice to state and others and directed SVO director to file the status of complaint filed by the petitioner. (JNF) |
