People's disappointment with BJP fast translating into rage: Harsh | | | Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, Sept 12: Urging upon the people to geared up their loins for a decisive battle against the gross betrayals and failures of the incumbent government on varied issues, Harsh Dev Singh Chairman JKNPP and former Minister said the public could no longer be duped and cajoled by the false assurances, fake promises and empty sloganeering of the BJP-PDP coalition. He said the BJP leadership having utterly failed to redeem any of its pre poll promises with its electorates having further been cheated on a host of other issues by the said party, the disappointment of masses had translated into anger and rage. He was addressing a public meeting in village Khoon of tehsil Majalta. Speaking on the occasion, Harsh Dev Singh said that besides its Jiggery pockery on AIIMS, the BJP had failed to get the much publicized Smart City sanctioned for Jammu despite Jammu city fulfilling the prescribed norms and criteria. He said that the recent order pertaining to service tax on Mata Vaishno Devi helicopter service had proved the imbecile mirth of BJP and established that BJP ministers were mere ornamental pieces in the present government. He said that while the PDP held the reins of government with all major decisions being taken by it unilaterally, the BJP Ministers were content with the two flags flying on their vehicles. He said that gullible electorates who had been cajoled and mesmerized by the lofty slogans and false promises of the BJP during elections had recognized the real face of BJP and were anxiously looking for an alternative to teach the Saffron Party a lesson. Claiming that Panthers Party alone was the true representative voice of Jammu region, Harsh Dev Singh said that it would provide a viable alternative to the people of Jammu region by launching an aggressive campaign for promotion of the interests of Jammu region. Manju Singh, senior Panthers Party leader ridiculed the slogans of 'Achhe Din' given by the BJP which had failed to provide even the basic amenities to the people. She said that common masses were being deprived of their fundamental rights. |
