Swimmers of Jodhamal School excel in inter-school swimming competition | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 12 : The students of Jodhamal Public School brought laurels to the school by winning 9 Gold, 4 Silver and 8 Bronze Medals in the recently held inter-school swimming competition. The championship was organized by KC International School Jammu. About 100 students from 11 different schools participated in the event. Jodhamal swimmers secured most of the medals in both the girls and boys categories and thus made their presence felt. The medal winners in girl's relay category are Saba Jamwal, Prabhnoor Sahni, Matangi Mahajan and Bhavya Bhushan, who got silver medal and in boy's category are Prakhar Bist, Shivain, Rehan Goel and Mayank Jain. In the individual Girl Category Sabha Jamwal got 2 Gold in 25 and 50 Meters Free Style, Matangi Mahajan got 1 Gold in 20 M Free Style and Bhavya Bhushan 1 Bronze in 25M Back Stroke while Vidur Kumar won 2 Goldin Brest Style and Medley Race and 2 Bronze in Free Style and 50 Meter Relay, Aarav Trehan won 1Gold in Medley Race and 2 Bronze in 100M free style and Relay, Daksh Sharma won 1 Gold in Medley Race and 1 Bronze each in Back Stroke & Relay, Dhariya Choudhary won 1 Gold each in 100 M Free Style and Medley Race, Samrat won Bronze in 50M Breast Stroke. The winners were felicitated in the assembly by school principal. The Principal Trilok Singh Bist lauded the efforts of the winners and stressed upon the players to achieve the pinnacle of success and become excellent players. |
