GDC Women Kathua organizes series lectures 9/13/2015 12:17:32 AM Early Times Report Kathua, Sept 12 : Career Counselling Cell of GDC for Women Kathua in Collaboration with Jammu & Kashmir Entrepreneur Development Institute J&K and Business School of Management University of Jammu organized two series of lectures regarding Career options after Graduation. In his welcome address Dr. Satinder Singh stressed upon the students to take benefit of various career schemes offered by JKEDI and also advised students to go through the admission process of MBA through CAT. He also emphasized that the students shall peruse professional degrees like MBA so as to seek more opportunities in the corporate sector in order to reduce dependence on Govt. Jobs. On the occasion, Aamir Shafiq Qureshi, District Nodal Officer JKEDI- Kathua stressed upon the need of creating awareness about entrepreneurship among the educated unemployed youth so as to solve the problem of unemployment. As per the current status, unemployment has become the biggest challenge of the state. One of the solutions for overcoming the problem is to switchover to Entrepreneurship" said in his speech.
