Jammu, Nov 5 : JK Montessorie Senior Secondary School organized an inter class Rangoli competition in the school premises, here today.
The theme of the competition was "Festival of lights". Students of classes Ist, 2nd and 3rd from different sections participated and glorified the event.
The students made use of holi colours, saw dust, diya’s, candles and flowers. The Rangoli competition was adjudged by vice Principal of the school Geeta Dixit .The Rangoli's were judged on the basis of their symmetry, their presentation, creativity and neatness.
The highlight of the Rangoli was use of eco-friendly and recycled ingredients in the designs. Class 2nd (Lotus) stood first , Ist(Rose) got 2nd position, 3rd prize clinched by Ist (Lotus) and 4th runner up was 2nd (Rose) and 3rd (Lotus) respectively.
Managing Director of the school Sanjeev Gupta appreciated the efforts put in by the students. He applauded their work which clearly reflected the theme of the festival. He also encouraged the students to celebrate the festivals by indulging more in such creative and ethnic activities. |
