CM Secretariat, PMO working together to finalize PM's speech | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Nov 5: The CM and his trusted aides are feverishly exchanging notes with the senior officials of the Prime Minister Office (PMO) on the text of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech at the Srinagar. According to the sources the Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed has deputed his trusted aide, to draft the points likely to incorporated in the speech of the PM and these are being sent to the PMO, which is being monitored by select group of senior officials reporting directly to the PM. The sources said the PMO has specifically asked for the points which can be taken in the speech and help in taking off the stalled political narrative on Kashmir. "These things were discussed in the meeting between Mufti Sayeed and Narendra Modi. It's on this that Modi sought suggestion from the CM and also from someone who knows the pulse of the Kashmir and can help in giving spin to it. Sources said it's after this assurance that a spin is being given to the rally by terming it as historic. "Now both sides are closely working on the tight draft, which could have paras as open -ended but can be taken on the positive note. The crucial point of the speech revolves on the political dimension and this is a tedious and difficult job by incorporating the sensitivities of the Kashmir and framing them in the context of the Indian constitution and it is here that the trusted aide of Mufti Sayeed is coming to his help," said sources. |
