SAMBA, Nov 5 : District Health Society, Samba in collaboration with Lions Club organized an eye care camp here today. The patients would be provided with free treatment, lens and spectacles in the camp under National Programme for Control of Blindness.
MLA Samba, Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal was the chief guest while DDC Samba, Sheetal Nanda was the guest of honour on the occasion.
While addressing the gathering, the MLA informed that a new eye operation theatre has been made functional and routine operations would be done here providing best eye care facilities to the patients. The camp will continue till November 8, 2015.
President Lions Club Samba, Amardeep Singh informed that the club has recently planted 1,000 plants in the cremation ground, Samba and would soon operate a fabricated Mortuary Van at Samba.
SSP Samba Joginder Singh, CMO Samba Rejeev Sharma and Medical Superintendent Samba Arun Sharma were also present on the occasion. |
