Reasi, Nov 5 : National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), Reasi organized a financial literacy camp at Bharakh.
Aarshi Sharma NABARD Reasi, Banarasi Lal KVK Reasi, Amit Singh SBI, sarpanch of the area and a large number of locals were present on this occasion.
On the occasion, Mrs Sharma spoke on need of financial literacy among people and underlined that each individual should open savings account in bank so that he/she starts doing savings. She also advised gathering to own life insurance for earning member of family so that family my not get affected in case of any eventuality. Parents should open savings accounts for their children also so that savings for child's education start early, she added.
KVK Reasi representative Banarasi Lal spoke about latest agriculture technology being used for better socio economic status. Later Amit from SBI spoke about KCC issuance process and high level of NPA in village. He also addressed people's grievances regarding KCCs. |
