| Vacation of POK is must | | | R.B. Suri
The leaders of the national and regional political parties and the people of our country are unnecessarily wasting their precious time in involving themselves in the undesired debate over the issue of retaining or revocation of the Article 370 of the Indian Constitution. In their own ways, Kashmir centric politicians have interpreted this particular Article and tried their utmost to take the benefits in exploiting the sentiments of the poor masses of Kashmir valley. We have wasted more than 68 years since Independence discussing the pros and cons of the instant Article but all in futility. The accession of Jammu and Kashmir state to the dominion of Union of India is legal and final and at the same time Article 370 of the Indian Constitution has become in fructuous and Article 35 A as redundant one . A man of ordinary prudence can understand very much about the issue involved.
The Apex Court of our country has ruled on 31st October 2015 that only Parliament can take call on Article -370. While dismissing a PIL filed by one Purshotam Yadav seeking for the revocation of Article -370 this ruling came very recently . A Division Bench of the Supreme Court of India headed by the Chief Justice H.L. Dattu dismissed the petition filed by Purshotam Yadav thereby giving the ruling that it was only the Parliament that can take the call on Article -370. Complying with the directions of the Apex Court of the country let the Parliament debates the issue involved threadbare and consume its valuable time just for nothing as we believe in theory only but practically just negligible. Our Parliamentarians and the Rulers are weak in actions and deeds as is evident from the fact the issue of vacating POK in accordance with the spirit of Resolution of our Parliament adopted 21 years back in 1994. It has not been implemented as yet. In light of this what is the fun in going to the Parliament for such debate time and again when we do not want to do anything on this score . Doing the actions in the very interests of our country should be our top agenda always. I want to draw the attention of the readers that in 1994, A UNANIMOUS RESOLUTION was adopted in LOK SABHA read here as under:-
" One third area of Jammu and Kashmir State now under the illegal occupation of PAKISTAN is an integral part of India and it shall be vacated."
On this score the then Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee warned PAKISTAN to remain within its ambit otherwise be prepared for a war - AAR YA PAAR . While passing the RESOLUTION , in question, no time limit was framed. 21 years have gone just for nothing . Pakistan did not mend its ways up to this time and instead made several ceasefire violations these days and in the past as well .
After seeing the terrorists strikes in December last year on the small kids and students who had gone to their schools for studying . It was a great tragedy indeed . Now the time has come to take some firm decision in vacating POK from Pakistan without wasting any further time in this regard .
Vacation of our area which at present is with PAKISTAN Occupied Kashmir illegally should be our top priority. At the moment , Indian PM is having very good ties with USA President Barrack Obama and he has succeeded in satisfying Obama that Pakistan is trouble shooter for India and both the Countries Heads , while taking the matter seriously ,have warned PAK for mending its ways and think for the development and progress of its citizens
This year Pakistan has crossed all its limits and the cease fire violations are to the maximum extent. Still the cease fire violations are on. By doing so PAK is busy in devising the strategies to weaken India at any cost . The Union Government has already given a clean chit / orders to the ARMY to give a befitting reply to PAKISTAN suo motto without waiting for the signal from the HQ. This time if PAKISTAN does not apply the restrains on its actions and deeds , then it should remain ready for the disintegration. India will not tolerate any more. Our Present PM Narender Modi exceptionally a different personality who can take any swift action to set right Pakistan in the days to come . Therefore , our Country without wasting any further time should make very clear to PAK that now be ready for the action and its consequential effects .
Having understood the actual problem posed by the Indian Prime Minister Modi , the USA Administration warned Pakistan to remain within its ambit and it should not harm India in any way. This was made clear to Pakistan by the USA. Despite all this conveyed to PAK by USA in an unequivocal terms ,it went on making the cease fire violations mindlessly thereby using heavy arms and artillery. This has led to the exhaustive damages to the human lives as also the land and buildings at the IB and civilian infrastructures too.
Up to this time ,nearly 80000 lives have gone for nothing .
Still the Militancy is on but with no results . People in the valley are suffering very badly due to it and misrule of the various Governments remain in power from time to time . Within the prevailing circumstances India should give a DEADLINE within which-- PAK should on its own try its best to remove all the Training Centers for Militants otherwise - Be prepared for their total dismantle ness by use of coercive actions by INDIA. Enforcing of the "LOK SABHA RESOLUTION - 1994" in letter and spirit i.e. AAR YA PAAR is and the
Liberation of our area which at present is with PAKISTAN occupied illegally is must . In the history such times come occasionally .
Time be used judiciously. It is the high time to act swiftly to do the ACTION practically as there are some concrete reports that the people living in POK areas are also raising their voices against the rulers of Pakistan who are mistreating them since 1947. This determination is with our dynamic PM MODI who may find his place in our History after Indira Ji - the dashing and dyanamic PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA who by her deeds and actions proved her worth and got created another NATION - BANGLA DESH in this World 44 years back. ". This WAR was started on 2nd December 1971 when Pakistan Air Force attacked India and bombed heavily our Military installations and major defense Airports and Civilian areas in J&K . In Panjab and Rajasthan its Army started advancement towards our Country . This was altogether a different WAR which was fought against Pakistan under the strong and Dynamic leadership of Smt. Indira Gandhi . It was imposed on us because Zulficar Ali Bhutto took over as the Prime Minister of Pakistan against the mandate of the People of East and west Pakistan in favour of BANGH BANDHU Sheikh Mujeebul Rehman who remained victorious in the elections and was arrested and kept behind the bars . About One Lakh of Refugees from erstwhile East Pakistan came to India and created many problems for us . In the meanwhile , India won the WAR and liberated East Pakistan from the clutches of West Pakistan and in the process +93000 Army soldiers and Officers of the West Pakistan Armed Forces were made as Prisoners of War ( POWs) including its Lt. General A.A.K. Niazi who surrendered along with his forces before our Lt.General Jagjit Singh Arora . This way a full fledged Nation was created and named as BANGLA DESH. Wining this WAR , Madam Gandhi proved herself as the dashing and Iron Lady Prime Minster. At that time Atal Behari Vajpayee was her main opponent in the LOK SABHA , described her as Durga Mata Ka Avtar and made all out praise for her in this great country .
