JAMMU, NOV 5: A Lok Adalat would be organized at Court Complex, RS Pura on November 9, 2015.
The criminal cases of compoundable nature, Petition u/s 488 Cr. P.C, Complaints u/s 138 N.I. Act (pending and pre-litigation matters), Pvt. criminal complaints of compoundable nature, civil suits, matrimonial cases and traffic challans would also be taken up in the Lok Adalat for amicable settlement between the parties.
The public could approach the court before the date fixed to identify the cases falling under the above stated categories in which parties are willing for settlement or there is a scope of amicable resolution of disputes. |
