| Manager DCS Setani arrested for allegedly slapping a girl | | | early times report
Udhampur, Nov 5: Branch Manager of Development Corporative Society (DCS) Setani Udhampur today was arrested by the police for allegedly slapping a girl and also using abusive language when the duo had some heated arguments.
According to sources, official identified as Kasif Malik of Udhampur was arrested by the police following a complaint lodged by the victim alleging therein that accused has used foul language and also slapped the girl.
Quoting victim sources said that the girl was employed on temporary job in a bank by the name and style Development Corporative Society and some days ago the accused -the Branch Manager Setani had promised her if she achieves target assigned by bank and gets deposit upto Rs 4 lakhs with the bank in return the bank will make her permanent employee. The girl achieved the target and then went to bank to pursue her case with branch manager for her permanent job but the duo got engaged in heated arguments. The heated arguments turned ugly and the accused allegedly slapped the girl, sources added, who on reaching here home narrated the story to her family members.
"Thereafter the family of victim lodged a complaint with Police Station Udhampur accordingly police registered a case under FIR 407/15 u/s 332 ,341and 354 and arrested the accused, sources said. Meanwhile further investigations are on in this regard. |
