RAMBAN, Nov 9: To bring several reforms in the ongoing education system, new education policy paper discussed in a meeting chaired by MLA Ramban, Neelam Kumar Langeh at conference hall Maitra. The education policy paper was explained in detail to the education experts including college professors, principals, ZEOs, Head masters, retired teachers and prominent people by the Chief Education Officer, Ramban, Mohammad Shrief in the presence of DDC , Bashir Ahmed Dar. Stressed was laid on, ethical education, separate staff in Mid Day Meal component, eradication of ZRPs and CRPs provision, proper staffing and rationalisation of staff in the educational institutions, one clerical post for each school, detachment of teachers from ZEO offices, provision of pre nursery classes, core content, opening of schools as per the population norms, introduction of cultural programmes, multiple teaching , equipping all schools with one hindi and urdu teacher, provision of regional languages in the curriculum, making scholarship compulsory for all deserving students and vocational learning. Speaking on the occasion, MLA stressed for compulsory morning assembly in the schools and colleges, ban on using mobiles, provision of physical education teachers, time bound salary and strict discipline. Besides focussing on the bottom top approach in the education system, DDC instructed the CEO for incorporating all the valuable suggestions in written from the experts and retired teachers who have vast experience in education field. He emphasised that to save the future generations from corruption and other social evils, it is very important to introduce ethical education at school and college level.
