CC storms into semi-finals of Powergrid inter regional cricket

JAMMU, Dec 2: It was yet another day of fascinating cricket that was witnessed on the third day of the Powergrid Inter Regional Cricket Tournament 2015. Teams fought to their level best to achieve the honours wherein four matches were played in three grounds, today. The details of the four matches is as: WR-II defeated POSOCO by 60 runs. Batting first WR-II scored 116 for 9 wickets in their stipulated 20 overs. In reply POSOCO were bundled out for 56. Tarun Dhruve of WR-II who took three wickets and was declared man of the match, SR-I defeated NER by 6 wickets wherein Batting first NER scored 101 runs in their 20 overs. SR-I chased the score in 13.5 overs losing 4 wickets in the process. Apparao from SR-I who scored 34 runs and took 4 wickets was declared man of the match,
CC defeated ER-I by 72 runs. Batting first, CC Scored 186 for 5 wickets in 20 overs and ER-1 failed to chase the target, Udit of CC who scored 93 runs was declared man of the match, NR-II defeated SR-II by 12 runs.
Batting first, NR-II Scored 145 runs in 20 overs and then restricted SR-II to 133. Vinul Koul of NR-II who took 3 wickets was declared man of the match.
